A genus of tuberous-rooted plants, native of Brazil, leaves large arrow-headed rich-green, spotted and bloched with white, pink, rose and red.
They are shade and shelter loving and are striking objects between May and October. Propagated by young offsets.
Most of the varieties cultivated are hybrids of caladium bicolour Vent.
